Augmented breasts should be evaluated every year to ensure that the implants are stable and the breasts are healthy. Unfortunately, many doctors—even those who care exclusively for women, such as gynecologists and internists—don't have the knowledge base to determine the health of breast implants and the surrounding natural breast tissue.
Breast Implant Care is different. We are a group of experienced
cosmetic surgeons, breast surgeons,
nurses, and radiologists dedicated to providing continual follow-up care for women with breast implants.

The Process
We offer a comprehensive evaluation to any woman who has had breast augmentation with implants. Our goal is to provide information as well as an opportunity for consultation and ongoing medical follow-up.
Patients undergoing a comprehensive evaluation come to one of our offices for an examination. This is followed by appropriate diagnostic services such as ultrasound, MRI, and mammography. After one of our board-certified cosmetic surgeons reviews your history, examination, and diagnostic studies, he or she will discuss the findings with you and make further recommendations as needed. We can then send a full report to your primary care physician.
The Consultation
Consultations take place in a private, discreet office setting. We will conduct a complete medical history with a special focus on your breast implant history. Next, one of our board-certified cosmetic surgeons will conduct a physical exam and take photographs of your breasts. Like all other information, this becomes a part of your confidential medical record.
Diagnostic Services
Diagnostic services to image the implants and breast tissue may include a referral to a radiologist with expertise in implanted breast imaging. Tests may include ultrasound evaluation, mammography, or MRI. If you have already had such tests, please bring your films in for review at the time of your appointment.
During your appointment, we will discuss the diagnostic results and review options for regular follow-up, further evaluation, or, if needed, implant removal, implant exchange, or other surgical correction
